Not all flowers have green...
The floral business can be hard on the environment. Our goal is to provide flowers that are as "green" as possible. Currently, pesticide free flowers are not a practical option for a large event, but steps can be taken to minimize waste in the floral industry. We encourage our brides and other clients to use flowers that are available closer to home... drawing from Canada and the U.S. for the bulk of our flowers reduces our carbon footprint. We also reuse as much as possible- taking the time to dry out our floral foam for more than one use, using old food packaging for corsage containers and getting creative with vases are some of the steps we take towards reducing our waste.
